How to Work with Me
Work With Me: Art Therapy, Dreamwork & Depth Healing
It makes sense that you want to know what is the cost for art therapy sessions.
I understand that it can be a stretch for you to think about spending money on yourself.
The truth is that therapy is one of the best investments that you can make in yourself and your relationships. Furthermore, money is energy. Investing into yourself in therapy is a catalyst for change.
I’m literally a different person for the work I’ve done in my personal Jungian analysis. I don’t know where I’d be now without it. That’s a sobering thought! Doing depth work is the best thing that ever happened to me. That’s why I’ve gone out of my way to train in Switzerland and continue to go above and beyond in my training for the work I do with my clients.
I want you to get the most out of your investment.
That’s why it’s important to determine if we are a great fit to work together.
Every client starts their therapy journey with a free 30 minute phone consultation.
This allows us to dig into what you’re experiencing and what is bringing you into therapy.
We’ll chat about the way that I work and together, decide if we’re a good fit for each other.
I’ll answer any questions that you have about the way I work, or therapy in general.
I want you to make the best decision possible, even if that means not working with me.
Individual 50-Minute Session – $200
Individual sessions for art therapy and dream analysis are for approximately 50 minutes in duration. 80 and 100 minute session are available at a prorated fee.
I do encourage all clients to begin their therapeutic journey with minimally weekly sessions for the first 2 months with a possibility of tapering off to every other week as your goals are met. I will consider working with people every other week.
Is Art Therapy Covered by Insurance?
I do not accept any insurance. I am an out-of-network provider in the state of Ohio, New York, and Delaware. I can provide you with a superbill to submit for possible reimbursement from your insurance company. I am happy to talk with you about what questions to ask your insurance company to see if out-of-network art therapy is covered on your policy.
You can use an Health Savings Account (HSA) for my services. Mental health services may also be qualified to be claimed on your taxes at the end of the year.

As part of your intake paperwork, you will be asked to place a credit card on file and pay for the first session as a deposit. You may be eligible to use an HSA or FSA to cover the cost of therapy as I am considered a medical provider. This is something that you can talk to your HSA provider about.
I have some clients who want to pay for therapy on a certain day of the month for the whole month or prepay for their sessions to help with cash flow. I can work with what makes sense for you.
Cancellation Policy
When booking an appointment with me, you are reserving that time in my weekly and monthly schedule. This means that I cannot schedule another client during that time.
Any unplanned cancellations that we do not mutually agree upon during the previous session results in a charge of the full session fee for any reason. This is customary for psychoanalysis, Jungian, and depth work.
There are a couple of reasons for this. Consistency is necessary to heal relational, attachment wounds. Furthermore, sometimes there is an unconscious urge to avoid facing something uncomfortable that results in a cancellation. When you feel the worst, you need your regular therapy appointment the most. Therefore, the cancellation policy encourages your commitment to lean in to your discomfort and get the support you need to make lasting changes.

How I Work: Exploring your Personal Symbolic World
I work with the language of your unconscious—the personal symbols that emerge through your body’s symptoms, your dreams, and your creative expressions. This is all part of Jungian dream work, Jungian analysis, shadow work and depth work. Together, we explore these symbols through conversation, art (online or in person), and sandtray therapy in the office. This process helps us uncover what your psyche is trying to communicate. As I get to know how you think and experience your world, we co-create a safe therapeutic container that supports meaningful transformation.
Depth work isn’t a linear, step-by-step process because healing isn’t linear. It unfolds uniquely based on your history, your needs, and the way your psyche speaks. I let you take the lead, ensuring that nothing feels forced. There are no rigid worksheets here—only a deep, thoughtful approach that allows integration to happen at a pace that truly supports change.
What if I Don’t Want to Make Art?
If we’re working with your archetypal images, you don’t have to create art every session. Art therapy isn’t just about making something visual—it’s about working with imagery, symbols, and embodied experience. This might include visualization, body movement, breathwork, or other ways of connecting with your unconscious. So no, I’m not going to make you do art if that’s not your preferred way of exploring. Our work together is about finding the right approach for you.
Session Frequency: The Importance of Consistency in Depth Work
Whether we are doing art therapy sessions or dream analysis work, meeting weekly or bi-weekly is essential to keep the process alive. There are only 168 hours in a week (336 hours for biweekly work), and staying connected to the emotional material allows us to work with it consciously before it sinks back into the unconscious. When we stay engaged, we can identify and release old patterns, untangle psychological knots, and understand the archetypal forces at play in your life. If too much time passes, the work risks feeling like “old news,” making it harder to access the deeper transformation you’re seeking.
Sometimes people ask me if they can work with me monthly. I find that often this seems like a more comfortable cost for art therapy sessions, however, I’m want to be completely honest with you. Trauma work and deep healing cannot happen if we only meet once a month. Therapy has to become a regular part of your day to day, weekly schedule for you to harvest the real gold from the beauty of this work.
