Fees and Insurance
You are worth the investment.
It makes sense that you want to know how much art therapy costs.
I understand that it’s probably difficult for you to think about spending money on yourself.
The truth is that therapy is one of the best investments that you can make in yourself and your relationships. Furthermore, money is energy. Investing into yourself in therapy is a catalyst for change.
I want you to get the most out of your investment.
That’s why it’s important to determine if we are a great fit to work together.
Every client starts their therapy journey with a free 30 minute phone consultation.
This allows us to dig into what you’re experiencing and what is bringing you into therapy.
We’ll chat about the way that I work and together, decide if we’re a good fit for each other.
I’ll answer any questions that you have about the way I work, or therapy in general.
I want you to make the best decision possible, even if that means not working with me.
Individual 50-Minute Session- $175
All sessions are currently held online and for 50 minutes in duration. 80 Minute session are available at $250 per session.
I do encourage all clients to begin their therapeutic journey with weekly sessions for the first 3 months with a possibility of tapering off to every other week as your goals are met.
At this time, art therapy is not regulated by the state of Ohio for licensure. Therefore, you cannot get reimbursement from insurance companies for my services in the state of Ohio.
All fees for session are due at the time that services are rendered.
As part of your intake paperwork, you will be asked to place a credit card on file. You may be eligible to use an HSA or FSA to cover the cost of therapy as I am considered a medical provider. This is something that you can talk to your HSA provider about.
When booking an appointment with me, you are reserving that time in my weekly and monthly schedule. This means that I cannot schedule another client during that time.
Any unplanned cancellation results in a charge of the full session fee.
There are a couple of reasons for this. Consistency is necessary to heal relational, attachment wounds. Furthermore, sometimes there is an unconscious urge to avoid facing something uncomfortable that results in a cancellation. When you feel the worst, you need your regular therapy appointment the most. Therefore, the cancellation policy encourages your commitment to lean in to your discomfort and get the support you need to make lasting changes.
